Erin Hendrick

Vice President, Hospital Strategy

In her role as Vice President of Hospital Strategy, Erin is responsible for oversight of all specialty pharmacy services developed for health systems. As part of her responsibilities, Erin works closely with hospital pharmacists and executive teams on strategies for creating and growing hospital-owned specialty pharmacies.

Prior to joining Shields Health Solutions, Erin was Chief Operating Officer at Emory University Hospital Midtown in Atlanta, Georgia with responsibility for clinical outcomes and operations of ancillary services, ambulatory care and the environment of care. Her past experience includes pharmacy leadership roles within Emory Healthcare, The University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics, HCA and McKesson. Erin has been highly involved with shaping the profession of health-system pharmacy including serving on the boards of four state pharmacy associations and over 10 years involvement with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Erin is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and a Fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Erin earned a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Doctor of Pharmacy and Master of Science in Health System Pharmacy Administration degrees from The Ohio State University. Erin is a graduate of the Health System Pharmacy Administration Residency Program at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
