Director of Quality and Patient Outcomes
Jennifer Donovan is the Director of Quality & Patient Outcomes at Shields Health Solutions and ensures that every patient receives quality care, assists with health outcomes research, and develops training programs.
Prior to joining Shields, Jennifer served as the Associate Dean for the School of Pharmacy – Worcester/Manchester and was a Professor of Pharmacy Practice at MCPHS University as well as served as a cardiology and anticoagulation pharmacy specialist at UMass Memorial Medical Center.
Along with her previous professional and teaching experience, Jennifer has received dozens of awards that recognize her outstanding achievements in both research, teaching, and clinical settings, including the Faculty Scholarship Award in Integration and Engagement at MCPHS University that she received in both 2014 and 2017. Jennifer has written or contributed to more than fifty publications, edited numerous peer-reviewed articles, published almost 50 abstracts, and given presentations on various research topics throughout her career.
Jennifer graduated in 2001 from MCPHS University in Boston, Massachusetts as a Doctor of Pharmacy and has remained involved at the University ever since then.
