Kalisa Barratt
Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer
Kalisa Barratt is the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer and Chair of the Audit Committee.
Kalisa joins Shields with more than 25 years of legal and compliance experience in healthcare provider and life sciences, specializing in developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance and privacy programs, conducting internal investigations of reported non-compliance, and initiating voluntary disclosures.
Kalisa promotes a culture of compliance, advising on issues concerning compliance and privacy matters while working closely with our senior leadership and the Board’s Audit Committee. She also works together with colleagues to support the Shields Compliance and Privacy Program.
Prior to Shields, Kalisa has held many leadership roles in various healthcare-related companies, most recently at Atrius Health as chief compliance and privacy officer.
Kalisa earned her JD, cum laude, from Vermont Law School. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications studies from the University of Massachusetts.
In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, playing golf, and traveling. Kalisa lives in Central Massachusetts with her labradoodle Millie.
