Head of Strategic Partnerships
As Head of Strategic Partnerships, Tim works collaboratively with business development and the operations organizations to build and maintain strategic relationships with the c-suite executives of largest health systems. In his role he works across the Shields organization and on behalf of these executives to help demystify the complexity of Specialty Pharmacy, foreshadow the value created by prioritizing Specialty as an enterprise strategy, while illustrating the financial impact a strategic partnership with Shields can have on accelerating their system’s success in monetizing their largest revenue generating asset.
Prior to joining Shields, Tim was Managing Partner and Head of Innovation at The Health Management Academy, a boutique member driven organization exclusively serving the needs of the largest U.S. based Health System’s corporate executives and industry solution providers. In his role he led the development of The Academy’s Strategic Partnership Alliance, a subgroup of health system members focused on leveraging their network to developing platform partnerships to generate alternative revenue streams while de-risking a traditional “go it alone” investment strategy.
Tim received his B.S. in Marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and received his M.B.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University.
